Well i did not make it to the theaters last night because the tickets had been sold out two days before. Sometime later i will post my review.

Hunger Games

Wow i haven't used this blog in over a year. Anyways i just want to say that i am super excited for the opening of Hunger Games tonight. I read all three of the books over the course of two days and i loved them tons. It was a very good story that was set on a future that could have arisen from our present. Thrilling story and i couldn't put it down.

However, as with any movie based on a book i am hoping with all my fingers crossed that they manage to pull off an accurate representation of the story and characters. So far from what i have seen on the previews i think they did an amazing job casting Katniss. I am very disappointed in the actor they chose for Peeta though. He seems too young in my mind and is too tainted by other movies that he has been in. As far as the rest of the characters go i will have to wait and see.

One final comment though, they had better do a good job with the flaming outfits. That was VERY important visual symbol in the book and one i am afraid will be hard to capture. The rest will have to wait until tonight.
